UARR ED Jason Merai spoke with CBC Metro Morning on Police Carding

metro morning

This morning Executive Director Jason Merai was interviewed by Matt Galloway on the statements Chief Saunders made at the 2nd Annual African Canadian Summit as well as the UARR’s position on police carding. We remain steadfast that revisions put forth by community members, including the Ontario Human Rights Commission, need to be implemented immediately. The status quo of rhetoric with no action will continue the distrust communities have with its police services.
