A project to engage and establish working partnerships with all members of the Humber community to address violence against women at Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning (Humber ITAL) campuses.

PROGRAM PURPOSE:
Based on funding from the Status of Women Canada, Humber College has the unique opportunity to partner with the Urban Alliance on Race Relations (UARR) to raise awareness on violence against women/gender-based violence on a post-secondary campus. This Two-year initiative will work in partnership with the Humber Students’ Federation (HSF) and Humber College to examine current institutional policies and programs, social dynamics, security provisions and physical safety issues to address this important issue.
